How to Lighten Natural Black Virgin Hair Extensions
Let’s Get Some Color!
First, gather the materials you will need to bleach your Virgin Hair Extensions.
- Creme Developer
- Powder Bleach
- Applicator brush
- Mixing Bowl
Before applying the bleach to your hair you would want to do an allergy test. Set up your working station, its best to work somewhere with ventilation and no carpet because if the bleach gets on the carpet it will stain. You also want to make sure you are wearing clothes you wouldn’t mind damaging. Gather the materials needed, brush your hair using a wide tooth comb to remove all tangles. Divide your hair into four equal parts and clip the three sections away from the section you are currently working on.
It’s time to prepare the chemicals but first put on gloves to protect your skin. The amount of bleach and developer you add depends on the length of your hair. Add bleach powder and 30 or 40 volume creme developer into the mixing bowl and mix them together completely. Using an application brush, start to apply the bleach on the Hair Extensions from top to bottom. Be sure to check the extensions every 5-8 minutes to see how much the hair is lifting. Add bleach to each section ensuring all strands of the hair are getting bleached. Once hair is the desired color, rinse the hair with warm water till the water runs clear. Squeeze the excess water before applying a deep moisturizer conditioner. About five minutes later, rinse hair again. Let hair air dry or blow dry using a heat protector, style to the desired look and your all done.
